Mark Carey earned a BA Degree in International Relations and a MS Degree in International Public Administration from the University of Southern California. In Addition, Mr. Carey is a licensed general contractor and is experienced in tenant improvement projects.
Mr. Carey earned his real estate license in 1978 and began investment property sales specializing in Orange County apartment buildings. Subsequently, he joined the Newport Beach Office of Marcus & Millichap where he worked exclusively in office and industrial investment property sales. In 2001, Mr. Carey transitioned into residential real estate services. Later, Mr. Carey joined a predominate commercial real estate company and specialized in office and industrial property leasing. Currently, Mr. Carey is a senior member of The Veytia Group of Agents, Inc. In their Monarch Beach office.
The opportunity to work in a number of specialities has provided Mr. Carey broad experience with residential sales, investment property transactions as well as leasing and sales of office and industrial properties throughout Orange County.
In addition to his extensive real estate experience, Mr. Carey was a bank branch manager and was an Administrative Assistant to the City Manager of Pasadena, CA.. Additionally, he has formed, grown and later sold two private companies; one in bank branch security equipment sales and service and a FAA approved company overhauling flight control parts for Boeing, Airbus, and Douglas passenger jets..
Mr. Carey moved to Niguel Shores in Dana Point in 1974 where he and his wife Sybil raised three children. Both Mr. and Mrs. Carey have been extensively involved in community affairs associated with the South Coast Hospital, South Shores Church, and the Ocean Institute.
